Today, the FDNY added the names of 43 members to the FDNY World Trade Center Memorial Wall. These noble members succumbed to illnesses related to rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center. On Tuesday, 39 more names were added to the memorial wall at FDNY Headquarters. The wall serves to remember those members who died of World Trade Center related illness. More than 400 members have died because of the work they did in rescue and recovery. Countless others continue to suffer from 9/11 related disease.
